Too bad really,but I guess the Xbox fanatics will love it.

I was considering keeping this phone till Threshold came out,but I really can't see that happening now.

Try uninstalling internet explorer. Try uninstalling calendar. Try uninstalling messaging. Heck go back to WP8 and uninstall music + videos or Zune in WP7. Let me see how that works out for you.

Well you don't have to paid subscribers because the app is now a default music player. It is also a local music player.
And that's not how these things work, you have to prove what you are saying is right.

Ebuka, you can't uninstall system apps like Calendar, Internet explorer or Messages.

I was replying to the person who was upset he couldn't uninstall music and videos without realizing that they along with Onedrive are now system apps.

Fwiw, as what has been said and the sentiment expressed, the whole purpose was to not have it set up like it is. Appcentric doesn't mean locking it into system app. If it was they could have left Zune in..what can't you comprehend about this?

What I was discussing was whether XBM was a system app or not.
Also, the whole purpose was to make it easier for them to update.

And the issue is it is not supposed to be treated as a system app. Was not that not the whole purpose of them doing away with them and making the switch. I do believe that is the issue your not understanding here. If I am only going to be able to utilize Xbox for my on board music and video or not have a fully independent music or video player then this is the straw that broke the camels back.

gosh, i have almost no problem with the app right how it is at this point.... BUT
please.... PLEASE make the darn app to load faster!!!! every freakin' time i open it takes a whole life to load!
at least 1 whole minute waiting... always loading music or simply opening the app.
and scrolling in a playlist is so SLOW an SLUGGISH

It was to be both a system app but decoupled from the OS so it could be updated from the store. Just like the Nokia settings in the store, just like Onedrive and Calendar

Has anyone figured out how to make it show the entire library in your local storage? I still cannot find half the songs that I synced to the phone. And they're all in mp3 format...

The update tonight broke the shuffle smh

It just takes that long because the app is so poorly written. Install Listen or another audio player and see if all your songs show up after the first sync.

Great! The update removed the 100 song limit! So now I can get rid of Music Hub Tile! Yes!

For the rest, it seems pretty good now. I'm happy!
