8.1 update - release in the uk?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this. But, here goes - (who ever knows or has the power to move threads, feel free when I have posted :smile.
Does anybody know when the 8.1 update will be out officially in the UK or Europe, however the updates are released? I do not want to chance getting the un-official update yet. I have heard it can void the warranty... I have already replaced the phone once, I don't want to fork out the money again!

But if anyone can answer my question, it would be fantastic :grin:

Hey Kate it all depends when your carried will approve the update :smile: btw it will be available this summer (May-June )

And it's worth adding that latest devices will get the update first. So expect cyan for late-june.
