Re: Update 8.1 thread
How's the stability on the official 8.1 update? No crashing/etc like the preview?

If the Ativ SE had a GSM version, I would have purchased it without hesitation. My Ativ S was an absolute pleasure to use.Okay, now that the official 8.1 is available for the SE, can we all agree this is the baddest WP on the block? This is coming from a 1520 owner who despises Big Red.

Thanks Halev! I appreciate your help. So what do you see after you select "add new access point?" Or can you take some screenshots if possible? If you can add new access point and saved it, then the MMS might just work. Can you do that test for me? You can delete it after it's saved and it should be no problem.
DrRambone, do you have a ATIV SE on a different carrier network too? And it doesn't work after adding new access points either?
I'm not having that problem, but now my speech to text functionality for both Cortana and messaging does not work. It's like the phone doesn't hear me at all. The little "wave graph" thing at the bottom of the screen doesn't register any sound. WTF, because it was working perfectly with PfD? No problems on a call, though...the other person hears me fine, so I know the microphone actually works. Any one else having this problem?I installed 8.1 on my Samsung Ativ SE last week - the good...I like 8.1 ...I used to have it over a year ago as the Dev Preview on my old Nokia 810...the bad ....now my phone reboots about 3 - 4 times a day without any warning....anybody else having this issue?

Yes, using it with another carrier. I tried with my new apn, internet ok, but cannot send or receive mms.
