925 powers up when charging cable removed

new member here. Lurked for a bit before deciding on the 925. Love the phone just a couple issues. Mainly, when I shut it off and then remove the charging cable it powers right back up. Am I doing something wrong? I've also had a couple random reboots but I was scrolling around on the start page with updating tiles just for fun so perhaps over did it.

That's normal behaviour.

What you really should be worried about is when it says its charging even if it's not plugged in. As in, at least a minute after.
