Apologies if this is a common question.
I wasn't able to find anything relevant with search.

I was wondering for those folks who have the Lumia 925 which version number you may have?
Also is this a hardware version number and where might I find info on each version?

The latest one should be 8.0.10512.142
Or
8.0.10501.127
8.0.10517.150
8.0.10521.155

My lumia 920 is on 8.0.10521.155 with dev preview program which is the latest one :)

On the edge of my seat too ... lol
Hoping this will be a good shot in arm for our phones.

indeed , I wish I could slip march but 8 days more :D , btw do you know if we could see the live video feed , if not I will keep my eyes on wpcentral live feed\articles :)

I was hoping there would be some news with video on the Insider app.
Insider is not always at the front tho...

I agree WPC would be the place to watch.

what is your favourite feature ? mine is notification+action centre(quick toggles ) , 3rd column of tiles , voice assistant , ie 11 , and I need better battery life with new API for developers

Mmmm ...
Separate volume I think...
The voice assistant might be neat-o Not sure I'd use it in public tho.
Hate to ask it something and have people looking at me like I as some kind of dummy Lol :sweaty:

Hard to choose I'm curious about the gestures on the keyboard.

ah how could I forget separate volume controls , yes I used siri when I used to have an iPhone , it was crap , people used to watch me in public , hey what is he doing with his phone , and she never accepted my ascent so she was a BIG FAIL , and still she doesn't in ios 7.1

The volume controls are a good thing.
A few times I had the V+ at 30 on my 521 if I didn't turn the volume down the alarm in the morning scared me almost to death!
The 521 is probably the loudest clearest phone I've ever heard, the 925 has a sort of tin can sound.

I forgot to look ... any idea what download size the 8.1 overwrite will be?

same problem on my mom's Lumia 520 , hopeful they fill these bugs with visual glitches :)

Here's what my 925 says:

OS version: 8.0.10517.150
Hardware revision number: 0.5.2.1

I'm not sure this was all you meant, though. It does say 925.3 on the back of my phone, oddly enough.

925.3 here too.
I was wondering if there was a .1 then .2 and finally the .3

I didn't know about 925.1 or 925.3, but it threw me for a loop when I got my phone. There's a 925.2 that's been selling through Negrielectronics, though, which is completely compatible with T-Mobile although it's unbranded. I guess the 925.3 is the official T-Mobile version(??).
