950XL Half Screen Feature, Can Anyone Shed Some Light On This?

950XL Half Screen Feature

950XL:

Tapping & Holding Win icon slides down top of screen to middle and a blank half top portion of screen appears that I tried to figure out its use but nothing found yet. Anyone can throw some light on this dark upper half screen? Thanks folks. It could be helpful if apps can run there so pulling down on one app reveals another running app.

It's the one handed use feature.

It is simply a "one hand" feature, shrinks screen onto bottom half to make it easier to use with one hand....I agree, they could use the top half for some other information in certain apps.
