The links for the GDR2 beta2 firmware wont allow you to flash your device. It fails when it checks the signature of the files.
If you are cross flashing aka flashing rom that is not directed to your regional model then it will prevent you from doing it.The links for the GDR2 beta2 firmware wont allow you to flash your device. It fails when it checks the signature of the files.

However you can turn on the manual flash function. Now it is kinda complicated to tell which is safe to cross flash which is not, just so you know why people are able to do it.
Ok, a little update for those wondering about battery life. On balance, I'd say it's unchanged. There is perhaps a slight reduction in drain when the screen is on, but there are so many other factors involved that it's hard to say for sure. All I can say is that with what I would consider to be a day of normal use, I got home with a normal level of charge remaining.
usually if you are flashing any rom with the same RM code then should be fine without any problem. If it shows error, turn off your phone and do it under "product mode: power off".I live in Finland and the new GDR2 update is for Sweden so it's safe to flash here. How do I turn on the manual flash thing?

Sometimes renaming the file to your suppose variant also helps to trick the NCS.
In case this does not work, or you are actually trying to flash say US att to some international version, then you might need something call "phoenix"
Anyways proceed with caution. Good luck and always have a backup copy of your current rom.
Is this the GDR2 update mentioned here? (portico was GDR1)

Has it stopped randomly discharging when not in use? Or does your phone never do that anyway.
