A Question About Lumia 920 Synchronisation

I had formatted my Lumia 920. After formatting, when I checked my phonebook, whole numbers was fitted in phonebook automatically. I couldn't have understood where it brought all numbers? :grin:

Is this a kind of setting Windows Phone's synchronisation? How does Windows Phone synchronize its phonebook after formatting?
Is there anybody who can explain this?
