A week (almost) on Lumia 1520 in build 10149

Can any of you on build 10149 on a 1520 record video with Lumia Camera? Mine leaves the counter at zero and when I stop it gives me an error.

It's a bug. Happens on my 930 on 10149 as well. Video works on the regular Microsoft camera app though.

Do you guys have issues with Glance with the latest build?

My 920 died so completely power cycled thought there was an issue with the charge port so took it off the charger as there is no indication whether it's charging on or not. Checked battery saver, low and behold it was charging... but no more glance screen. Not really a fan of the battery icon... lol it's tiny :evil:.


What's surprised me the most about this build is the charge to charge time is actually better than what I was getting on WP 8.1 for the past few months. My battery has aged drastically over the past year lol.... in two minds about changing the battery or just holding onto the pennies for the Win 10 flagship.

Thanks for the review. I just installed 10149 on my 1520 and cannot use 'Hey Cortana'. When I try to invoke "hey Cortana' I get a message that says 'this feature is not available for your phone'. It worked on 8.1 Denim. Any info on this?

Unfortunately "hey Cortana" is a no go on this build. Everyone gets that same message. I think it was mentioned in an article here in WC as well. Really missing it on my 930

Guys, those of you that come either directly from 8.1 -> 10149 or 8.1 -> 10136 -> 10149 and NOT doing a hard reset, a couple of questions. Glance; if it is working, does it show date time and lock apps, or its only date + notifications?
Lockscreen; can you add weather to be shown?
Battery life; I've found out latest outlook mail&calendar app is a battery drainer for me, how is it for you?

If I decide to do the same, 8.1 then 10149 whats best way to do it? Do a complete 8.1 restore with all the apps and settings, etc. and then go to 10149 or just a basic 8.1 install, upgrade to 10149 and then restore everything?

Glance shows time, date and notifications. I can't seem to add weather to glance since 10149 have a new weather app.
