My Nillkin case came with a screen protector as well, but I didn't realise that till I had ordered other ones, d'oh!

LOL, so did mine now that you mention it! It was inside the cardboard backing of the box. Doh!

-EDIT- The Nillkin screen protector is slightly smaller and doesn't hang over the edges of the screen, so much better than the ones I bought separately.

Always charges the phone first, then case. When in use, if the charger holds a charge it will charge the phone unless you shut it off to conserve the bonus battery. I have moved to the wireless charger case but the phone case is really good if you know you are going to be taking photos due to the ergonomics.

Thanks. I get frustrated with that case. When I use it I can be using the phone with the grip case plugged in and the phone dies sometimes. So then I take it off and use a different case. I think I can charge the grip case separately and attach it then it will charge my phone. So I guess I will just use it only for pics and filming.

They are pretty expensive though.

Wow that camera grip is awesome...do you guys think regular cameras will be obsolete in 10 years? As in they would be part of our phones with no use for a separate camera.

Guys at last my lumia 1020 accessories collection is complete. Days before I got my lumia 1020 I ordered case online. Then I wanted the camera grip. I harrowed my friend who was in u.s . Made him get me the black camera grip. Now last was left was the wireless charging shell. Now in my country all these accessories was not available. Then wat luck my frd who stays in u.s was coming down.i asker her to get me wireless charging shell and gave her amazon link. She got me yellow one. Now just waiting for my wireless charger to arrive. I say must have is a good case. Camera grip for sure. And if u are a fan of wireless charging then a must.

I have the wireless charging shell but I won't be using it until I find a tpu type case that fits over the shell and the phone.

Bro dont u think a case over wireless charging shell will make the phone really thick. I use wireless charging shell as a cover .

I do not think it will be too thick. The way I drop phones, I don't feel comfortable with the charging shell being the only protection.

Just got a new case from Melkco, excellent quality coming from Hong Kong.
Its leather and has a cover for the camera which is held using a magnet so easy to open and close.

Bought a Nillkin Fresh folio case. Really nice case for the money (under $10 shipped off ebay). Not leather of course, but still looks great and the magnetic latch is definitely a welcome feature compared to folios with no latch. Only one problem - when the screen high sensitivity is turned on, the microfiber on the inside of the flip sometimes is detected by the screen, and all of a sudden you have apps open or the screen layout is messed up. In warmer weather I don't need the high sensitivity, but its now gloves weather so a bit of an issue.

I bought an Otterbox Commuter case for my Nokia Lumia 920 for the sole purpose of tapping a tripod socket and have enjoyed the benefits thereof. I then applied some plastic modeling skills to first fit the Nokia Lumia 1020 into the 920 case. Worked fine. Then I chopped down the wireless charger adapter plate and squeezed it in. Difficult but managed to get back wireless charging. Finally, I added a compact tripod socket module I salvaged from a discarded compact digital camera to give it better stability with a deeper and sturdier tripod socket. A camera module with 41MP is screaming for a tripod. It took some time to sand, chop, re-sand, expoxy-glue, re-sand and then spray paint. But well worth it. I can now carry my Nokia Lumia 1020 in my Levi's pocket, put it on a real tripod (like I did today at my kids' karate tournament) and come home and put it directly onto the wireless charger. Very happy with my 1020!

AJays Five for Windows

I finally received today my AJAYs 5 earbuds!

Bought from Amazon for $99 and it only took 3 days to ship to my Amazon locker.

The cord is definitely tangle free and these have hard core quality through and through!

I am also ecstatic that there is finally a set that actually controls Windows phones now!
