According to Thurrott on WP 8.1, this is it.

Exactly my question. Wasn't it supposed to arrive with 8.1 instead of GDR? They already showcased it.

That wasn't a feature. It was a developer demo to show how much flexibility devs have with the API. They even stated it was a third party app. I hope we're talking about the same thing.

If updates to 8.1 are over, i am going to some other platform as soon as i can, because i can't stand random freezing in urgent moments. The phone just freezes and won't respond to any button, or touch or anything it simply doesn't work. WP8 was much better, just shame it had less features than 8.1... P.S. I have ATIV S

Your phone must have some serious problem then as my ATIV S performs almost flawlessly with WP8.1, camera issues aside. I assume you don't have the GDR3 update as the GDR2 firmware causes the exact problems you're having.

I really want them to just fix IE 11. It has major regression compared to IE 10, IE 9. I tweeted a few of people from MS who worked on IE 11, but it appears to be falling deaf ears. It's my biggest frustration since I spend 90% of my time on the browser.

1. Constant reload of tabs even just one tab
2. Tabs move around like musical chair
3. You can only see four tabs at a time compared to six before
4. Unlimited tabs make the user experience worst, not better
5. Pin websites to home screen is broken; you can get three different random results

Yes I understand. The reality is that that the plastic phones seem to hold up better to drops. The iPhone has a problem with cracked screens. Ask any mobile repair guy, and he'll tell you that the single biggest part of his work is replacing iPhone screens.

If you drop a Samsung, it will go to pieces. There will be parts flying all over. However, that absorbs impact, taking it away from the screen. Gather up the phone, the battery, and the back cover, reassemble, and likely as not you won't find any (serious) damage.

A screen replacement sets you back $50 here. A damaged motherboard? Get a new phone.

Actually the 5C is one of the best selling phones in the world. It's only a "disappointment" to investors who think every iPhone has to be ranked #1 in sales. iPhone 5S continues to top the charts on every carrier, not good enough?

I wasn't aware that the 5S had plastic covers in different colors. Unless my English is failing, I only said the 5C has gotten the cold shoulder, meaning it has disappointed in sales as compared to the 5S. In fact, a less expensive 8GB model was introduced to give sales a boost. Considering the 5C is identical to the previous 5, it is logical to conclude that the Miami Vice color palette has not gone well with consumers. I stand by my previous statement.

The colour palette is crappy, granted. But the price difference was kinda stupid as well. 100usd from the 5c to the 5s... It was begging to fail.
