im going to be receiving a 1520 soon from att.i came across this service on ebay for 50 to qi to the 1520.i just needed some opinions on this to make my decision on this.i could not post link because i dont have 10 post .thank in advance

I am offering a service of adding Qi charging to your Lumia 1520 that AT&T so kindly felt the need to leave out.
I will open your phone add a Qi Charging coil to the inside of the back cover, this adds NO thickness to the phone.
Note: This will void your warranty, please keep that in mind. I will supply the coil, solder and any other needed parts, you only need to supply the phone.
The phone MUST be a AT&T Lumia 1520, once this mod is complete you can use a Qi charging plate (Yes it works with the plate from the Luima 920!).
You will NOT be able to use the PMA charging cover once the mod is complete, doing so may damage your phone.
I have been creating PCBs, soldering, working with electronics and repairing broken equipment for 20+ years,
please feel confident that the mod will be done correctly with quality.
I will provide a shipping address when the service is paid for through ebay/paypal.

Dodge... Such a thing is possible. It's a known hardware mod.

There's a huge thread on this forum talking about the process to perform the modification that you're talking about here. It is not "simple" to anyone but those who have extensive soldering/electrical/circuitry work experience. Joe Schmoe selling the service for $50 may be, at best, a hobbyist. I'd be quite wary about trusting my phone to anyone without solid feedback (as RumoredNow suggests).
