In the Control Panel, it shows as a Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

Check it out in Device Manager to find the same... and since the descriptor request failed, that means no hardware ID for me to restore the drivers. Tried the typical trick to uninstall then scan for hardware changes, and tried to simply remove the device then restart to let magic happen.

The result's been a whole lotta nothin'... any suggestions?

...or even an archive with all the docking station drivers? That would be grand.

I had an issue where the power cord wasn't plugged in all the way on my docking station and had a similar issue. Double check that it is plugged in all the way.

Definitely wouldn't go in any further... but unplugging and plugging it back in fixed it.

Madness.
