You can flash your own firmware version ? How can you do that ? I would like to flash the Black firmware, already having the GDR3 update through the usual telco operator update.

updated yesterday on Vodafone DE branded 920 (a friend with country variant DE got it too). Got the GDR3 preview already, so was looking forward to new camera algorithms and notifications on glance screen.Also Data Sense magically appeared after being unavailable in Amber! And it's good to have my warranty back

Also seems faster no kidding, I used to have some lagging when loading our family Room and quickly swiping through pages which is now gone not so bad.

I was getting the same error till yesterday but finally updated my (RED) L920 - India Unbranded.

Tried by doing below steps.

1. Soft reset (Volume Down + Power Button)
2. Clear Temp Files.
3. Reboot
4. Turn Off Mobile Data & Location (I switched to Flight Mode with Wi-Fi on)

then again started the update & finally its done.

How to clear temp files?
And a soft reset will delete ABSOLUTELY no data, right?

i was getting same error 5 times in a row due to my mobile data being turned off, turned the mobile data on and everything went smooth.
most probable solution: turn on your mobile data and wifi and try again

Indoor photos still have yellow tint after processing.

This was not the issues it was something else and today morning the update went smoothly.

Well just tried updating and it has. Didn't have to clear temp files or soft reset or do any other thing.
I guess Nokia has solved the problem at their end. Thanks for the suggestions anyways.

when indoors, it's generally the best idea to use manual white balance. Please try that and report back (worked for me well even with amber). Outdoors it's another story, but what I've seen so far after Black it got better.
