Am I the only one with Lumia 636 here?

So i finally got the Lumia 636 (RM-1027 059W2W3) earlier from a sale.

I want this phone because it is the only low end (currently) that supports my networks' LTE band having bands 1, 3, and 7 FDD-LTE Category 4. I also want this to play around with Windows 10.

LSRT is downloading a new software for it, perhaps play with in as Windows 8.1 first, then load Windows 10 TP later on.

Congratulation with the 636. But i do not think you can install the windows 10 preview on it. Because this device is not included in the list of devices who can install the windows 10 preview yet. Maybe in the next windows 10 preview it will be included but that is not confirmed yet.

It is, that's why I bought it. In fact, I'm ready to push the button to update but I'm holding off to get some Windows 8.1 feel.

windows 10 plays nice on it, given it only has 512MB ram.. love the lte too.. though i just unlocked for tmobile...

i thought the entire 630 series was eligible for 10 in its current unfinished state.

It happens to be a nice phone, its LTE performance is much better than my iPhone 5S but a little short of my Honor 6.

While it does not have NFC, I like the fact that it has Miracast (Wi-Fi Direct) which is more useful to me.

Spending three days in Windows 10 mode was an experience of things to come. It's now back to 8.1.1 though as the technical preview is just really that, a preview.

I am a bit surprised by the quality of photos from the 5 megapixel camera. The audio fidelity is just pedestrian though.

Yes. Upgraded from an iPhone 4s (which I dropped in a bucket of water) but downgraded from an HTC 8X (which I dropped and shattered on the pavement). It's S nice to be back with Windows Phone. It's like having sex with an old girlfriend.
