amber update

Just got a new 928. It did update when i turned it on and i downloaded the gdr3 preview but it doesnt seem like i have Amber. Glance doesnt show up in the settings and neither does the double tap to wake but the phone says it is up to date. Help.

Download an app called sysapp pusher from the store and update all the nokia system apps using the app. You have amber without the system apps which once installed would enable all the features expected with amber. Good luck!

I got my new 928 yesterday and added the gdr3 dev to it. Mine does have Glance option on it though. Not at all putting down my 8X, but I am loving the placement of the buttons on the 928 compared to my 8X. And def loving the double tap to wake!

What am I doing wrong? My 928 throws an error when I try to install GDR3. I've reflashed firmware; same thing. My 1020 installed without any issues.

Did you try to update it first? I got the same error at first, said I needed a higher OS version for it to work. Had to reboot the phone a few times and let it search for an update. Eventually updated and then I managed GDR3 preview. Works like a charm here

it let me update to gdr3 without prior updates. when i clicked update it had 6 updates in the list
