Honestly, I'm with windows for now, but Google is really going to be investing more time into new features. So who knows if Windows will ever get ahead or catch up..

They also launched a Beta program similar to insider. You get an app and you can test the latest software. This could also eventually become their solution to get everyone on a similar version.

Google has been offering beta releases of new Android versions for a long time. What's new about this one is that the updates will be OTA. Previously one had to flash the images.
