Any info as to why W10M calendar and mail apps not opening?

I'm using a Nokia Lumia 830, with latest .164 version. Both the Calendar and Mail apps will not open. When I launch either one from a tile or the app list, they try to open then quit.

I have done a soft reset and a battery pull, no success. I have not recently added any new apps which interact with calendar or phone, nor have I changed any system settings. All other programs seem to be functionally OK. Thoughts/assistance appreciated!

I had the same issue. fixed by going to the store and re-downloading the outlook app. All the best

How do you reinstall the Calendar and the Mail app? I don't see an option to uninstall them? I think they are pre-installed apps which can't be deleted. If I search for them in the Store it says 'This product is installed'.

I have the same problem and there is no update either in the Indian store.
