Any way to disable app notifications on Facebook with 920?

I have my Facebook settings configured to ignore notifications from my friends' apps that they need something on one of their apps. This setting appears to work correctly on my desktop and laptop, but not on the Facebook app on my Lumia 920. I don't see a way to get to any configuration settings on the Facebook app, so I was hoping it would inherit all the configurations I set up on my desktop.

Is anyone else having the same problem on their phone, but not on their PC? Is there something I'm missing?

It is because the Facebook app is a 3rd party app by MS and as such, does not inherit the same settings as official FB apps.
