Anyone get anniversary update on Surface 3?

Wow, you guys are turning an update into a science. I have the update already on my Surface 3 and it runs incredibly well. Maybe yours is part of a different batch or version, much like regional differences for Lumina 950 updates?

Wow, talk about going the hard way.


You can force your PC to update without the insider program or downloading anything.

Slide from right to left > All settings > update > learn more (in blue) scroll down to anniversary update and click on blue box.* Windows will check you over and start the download.

That option is simply not there on all PCs. I manage 9 PCs (3 of them S3s!) in my small business, and only 2 of them had that option available. Media creation tool is the safest and most reliable way to get the Anniversary Update.

Well, I finally got the update last week. It is working very well.
