Anyone having recent stability issues?

Over the past couple weeks I've been having occasional freeze ups and spontaneous reboots of my phone. Sometimes the phone will unfreeze and other times I have to do an extended hold of the power button to force a reboot.

It may not be locking up so much as the touch screen could be unresponsive.

Is anyone else having issues since the latest updates or could I be experiencing an intermittent hardware issue?

Are you on the Developer Preview? My phone has randomly rebooted itself twice today, and my battery life has been TERRIBLE. I'm usually around 70-80% at this time of the day, but right now I'm sitting at 48%. I haven't downloaded any new apps or anything recently, so my best guess is that something is being done to Cortana on the back-end that is affecting our phones' performance.

If you're not on the Developer Preview, then I don't know what else it could be in your case.

My 1520 freezes alot, very unresponsive lags like hell.Btw im on DP .Tonight im goona downgrade to 8 and then update to cyan..Hope everything goes right..

I don't really get what I consider lag. Just the occasional lockups. But I'll put up with whatever is going on to stay on the latest 8.1.1. I couldn't go back to 8.0.

I also think it could be related to having very large text/sms threads.

I too have been getting recent random reboots and hangups. My phone has also been heating up a lot for no reason (not running anything) and battery life is kinda inconsistent. Wonder what it is.

nope. 1520 is rooooock stable. sheer reliability.

It would help if you specified what variant you use. I'm RM-... 937 I think it's called. The Hong Kong version.

Same here. All of a sudden, in the last two days or so... my phone has been so unstable, I almost went back to my 920!

Screen becomes unresponsive, quiet hours stopped working and the screen freezes when I enter the Quiet Hours settings, sticks on the lock screen, apps terminating... just completely unstable.

Having all these issues as well. On DP 8.1.1 still without cyan, was assuming that was a contributing factor. Still no word when DP is meant to get cyan?

Hello,
after update to cyan, i have occasionaly an unresponsive phone. Last time i was reading hotmail and the screen went black. Only a soft reset was possible to restore my phone. I was never on DP and before cyan it never happend. I think it?s not a hardware issue.

Mine was running perfectly with the DP 8.1.1 and Cyan until the last week or so. Now it's become a disaster.

Still freezing, non-responsive, blank screens, apps terminating... I've soft reset my phone more times this week then since I've owned it.

Chalking it up to software issues (DP or Cortana maybe) as well. Frustrating as hell though.

Reinstalled wp8.1 twice and still experiencing random hangups and lockups.

Since I started the tread and these issues seem to have gone away. Which seems to be the case for some others as well.
