App crashes on Android Pie

Just updated my Pixel 2 to Android Pie and now the Band app crashes instantly when I try to start it :unhappy:. Wonder what the chances are of this getting fixed?

That being said, I suspect the problem is with the app itself, it probably needs an update to work with Pie. Whenever a major new OS comes out, there are always issues like this. Perhaps try the vendor?

Are you referring to the MS Band app? Have you tried uninstalling, reboot and reinstalling?

I have the same problem with the MS Band app on my Essential phone after moving to Pie. I see the last time MS updated the app was back in 2017 so I am guessing the odds of a fix are slim. I still have an old phone running Oreo and the app works OK there, but without notifications and other things enabled by the app on my main phone the band is not very useful.
