App Ideas Anyone?

I've been developing apps for Windows for quite some time and very soon will be finally getting a WP now that Nokia is moving along.

I am trying to steer myself into WP7 Development and curious if anyone has any ideas for apps they wish they could find for WP7. I am seriously looking for original ideas and trying my best to not become another developer writing tons of clone apps that are identical to ones already written.

Post your ideas here or message me. I am quite open to all feasible ideas that don't result in fart apps..........................................

Yeah, that is a very easy trap to fall into (clones). Although not always a terrible thing: There was only one FFFFound app in the MP, and was crap, so I made a better one.

With regards to ideas - the thing that I have found is that whenever people ask this they always get responses like "Bank of America" or "Netflix" (for the sake of the example pretend that those are not available) instead of "An app to control my chocolate fountain".

The first thing you need to do is ask yourself what app YOU need and would use everyday. Once you have a list of those, start looking around to see the ones with the highest market appeal.

I was about to link you to here (http://forums.windowscentral.com/developers/181197.htm) before I saw you already found it ;)

How about a WiFi signal meter with more fidelity than the built in WiFi settings screen provides. Would love to use my phone as a meter to calibrate my WiFi router.

A good baseball game like baseball superstars on ios.

Sent from my Samsung Omnia 7, the official WP of WeeBears everywhere, using Board Express

I don't think there are any API's for this unfortunately.

Please please.. If someone could make an app that does this I would be very thankfull: Uploads video from my camera album (shortcut in the ... Menu would be best) to Youtube (or any other service), make it shared (so others can view it), get a bit.ly link, then copies the link to clipboard or create an SMS if that's possible.
It's a pain in the a$$ to send a video right now.

Interesting concept. I was going to make something like that for photo's - but then mango came out and it's sharing is pretty good.
What happens when you share to skydrive, can it not give you a link?

Edited: I cant even figure out how I shared the skydrive link before to share a video with Skydrive. It will upload to your Skydrive "Mobile Uploads" folder when you share with SkyDrive, but there's no good way to share that video after it uploads.

One thing I would really like to see is an app that can pull reviews for liquors by scanning the bar code. It would make new booze-seeking trips to Total Wine much easier.

Edit: It would be even better if you could add favorites or add your own rating or something. There's lots of whisk(e)ys and tequilas out there...I tend to forget if I've had some of them already.
