Hi guys,
apposite to my app QR Scanner here is the QR Generator.

QR Generator lets you easy create your individual QR codes.

Supported Typs:

• Calendar (VEVENT) - pickable appointment
• Contact (VCARD) - pickable contact
• eMail address (MAILTO) - pickable from contacts
• eMail message (MATMSG) - eMail address pickable
• Geo location (GEO) - current location or choose from map
• Link (http://) - website title can be downloaded
• Phone number (TEL) - pickable from contacts
• SMS (SMSTO) - phone number pickable
• WiFi (WIFI)
• Text

Additionally QR Generator has the ability to recognize pasted or typed content if you know the right formatting. The AutoRecognition will then choose the right type for you. The AutoRecognition also autocorrects some inputs, needs to be improved over the time.

Looks neat! Wondering if Pivots will make this app gorgeous? How about using landscape screens to have things like "My QRs" "Shared QRs" etc?

Well yes, using Pivots would be possible (i used pivot in my app QR Scanner). But I?m trying to figure out the best balance between neat looking, fast using and displaying many relevant content. So i tried this time something else.
I think it would be annoying to choose the differnet types through swiping to the needed pivot page. I also made the experience (from QR Scanner) that vertical swipes or other gestures can invoke accidental pivot navigation. Depending on style concept the pivot headers could need additional space.

Why do you think using landscape screens could be an improvment? Can you explain that a bit more ?
Well, using a list on one side and by tapping an item showing the QR code or Details on the other side would be a neat feature for landscape mode!? Will investigate that.

The stored QR codes page will recieve in the coming weeks an update with the same filter options as QR Scanner already has. I could than add an option to filter already shared QR codes if needed.

Im working now on some QR code settings and the roadmap is quite full, so new thinks have to wait.
