App to remote Honeywell Lyric thermostat

I took a deal on a Honeywell Lyric thermostat because Home Remote app said it supported them but it doesn't. Anyone do this? Or use a Smartthings hub to control one? Additionally, any WP 8.1 Home Automation tips would help.

Well that stinks. I have one as well to install, but haven't done so yet. The app on W10M shows Honeywell Lyric as being a device that is able to add. Does that not appear on your WP 8.1?
