App will not let me uninstall...really frustrating

I downloaded an app for my child called "Puzzle games for kids". I would like to delete it, but it will NOT uninstall. I'm relatively new to windows phone, but I know how to delete most apps. From what I understand, if I am at the home screen, I swipe left to see the list of apps. I find the app in question and to a tap and hold on the icon for the app. Then, a pop-up window appears and it SHOULD say "Uninstall" as an option. That's how I've deleted all of the other apps I've deleted.

Why is this happening? How can I delete this completely without wiping my phone?

So I take it the option to uninstall isn't listed? Try reinstalling it to see if the option comes back.

The developer could get rich selling this bug to other developers.

Set the date to year 2500. Then when you tap on any 3rd party so you'll get an option to uninstall. Then revert to 2014. Hope this helps.
