Are you a data beast?

I'm on an old T-Mobile 5GB (unlimited) legacy plan.
Since I don't work or travel much my data use is what I would say is nil.

How about you folks?
Do you devour mobile or Wi-Fi data like tyrannosaurs?

I can occasionally get over 20gb on mobile if I am using mobile hotspot for a while every day. Otherwise an average month is 5 to 10gb for me.

Between all devices at home I usually top out around 100gb on the home connection.

I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan on Verizon. I use about 100GB a month. I think my record month was 250GB.

I used 9.4GB of data within 3 months, so I would say that I'm decent when it comes to preserving data. It's usually a need when on the road but I try to keep it to a minimum when possible.

For my Wifi, I have no clue how much I use per month... probably somewhere 75-100GB per month.

For data, I don't think I have ever had a time when I used more than 1GB, even in my phone switching madness. With WiFi, I can use more than 1GB easily, but still I doubt that I have come close to using 5GB.

Woah! And I thought that I was preservative when it comes to using data! libra89 uses way less than I do! Wifi too!

Probably 1 to 2gb per month. I don't stream music or videos so I'm not a big data hog.

I'm really not a data beast at all - I have a 512Mb data limit and 90% of the time I come absolutely no way near to reaching it!

Not sure I've ever used a gig even. Usually on WiFi at home or work and when I'm not at those spots I'm really not on my phone that much.

Wow. I don't even know what to say. I'm just surprised so I'm speechless.

Seriously? 1/2 of a GB? You do indeed come under the category of "really not a data beast at all"!

If you don't stream music or video while on wireless, what's really going to use much data?

Yeah I've never really used much data as I'm not a streamer and honestly when I'm not at home or the office I'm not really on my phone that often. I have Sirius in the vehicles so don't stream music. Occasionally stream a podcast I guess but other than that I'm not sure what most people use so much data on.

Maybe navigation if their vehicle isn't equipped or watching videos I guess?

Our usage sounds very similar.

Between shared data on two lines, my wife and I use less than 1GB on most months but never more than 2GB on a "heavy" month. We don't really stream because my music service offers offline downloads of content so I use Wi-Fi data at home far more. Even my maps for the navigation apps are downloaded so I only rely on data for traffic info. On the android devices we own, I can download Netflix shows to entertain our 5 year old so data usage is not an issue. Keeps my phone plan costs low.

I use data like water. I stream and watch media like it's going outta style. I have TMobile unlimited + 7GB tethering. But I connect to wifi whenever I can.

Hoping to eventually get a smartphone that can pair with a GOOD AR glass. Or the AR Glass IS the smartphone.

I have a feeling, but no way to prove it, that the average WM user uses less data than Android and iPhone.

I'm using more data now that I've got a new head unit in my car that offers Bluetooth connection to the Spotify app. The most I've used was around 16 GB when I used mobile hotspot.
