Just got a AT&T GoPhone 635 and unlocked it for T-Mobile. Im missing the Wifi calling feature thats on branded T-Mobile Lumia's have. Is there a way to get it working on a non-TMO phone?

If you can flash the T-Mobile firmware on to your phone then you'll get Wi-Fi calling

How does one go about doing this? I'm rather curious, because I was considering a possible switch myself.

Okay, looks like its currently not possible to flash the AT&T variant to the T-Mobile version. Though it can be flashed another LTA variant to de-brand it

Link please? I have tried and failed many times to flash an AT&T 635 to any other firmware. I would love to be wrong but I say it can't be done.

Ten Four: I unlocked a brand new 635 at https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...Fwww.att.com%2Fdeviceunlock%2F&token=sU4JQDQt - as "not a customer" - the phone had never had a SIM card in it yet.

I haven't tried it first hand my self but I was able to flash the LTA 7R ROM on most of the AT&T phones. You can try product code 059W1Z6

Tried it today and it didn't work for me. I bought my 635 in November and have used it on H2O and PureTalk. Maybe the answer is you have to ask for the unlock before you use the phone on any network? Here's what AT&T's message said. I purchased the phone brand new and nobody else has ever used it.

Unfortunately, your unlock request was denied because:
Your device is currently active on another AT&T customer’s account.
