AT&T Nokia Lumia 830 has a firmware update on WDRT 1/18/2016

New firmware with new build date. I'll upgrade again to Windows 10 mobile and see if any change there. As far as I can tell, no new features.

I noticed on your screen shot you have 8.1 Update 2. I only have Update 1 on my unlocked Lumia 830 (RM-985), can we get Update 2?

I don't have the phone, but AT&T finally rolled it out on their 830s. That's why it's there.

I was hoping for a fix with the random screen blackout issue with certain apps and operations but it looks like that didn't materialize yet. :unhappy:

It appears that the behaviour of both the magnetometer/compass and the front panel button lighting has become more consistent, though.

No, I'm on At&T MVNO (Airvoice)

I'm not quite sure what changed with the update, my phone seems to work the same.

Doesn't seem worth it. The camera seems better but that may just be in my head. However, Denim also introduced screen tearing (only happens with I'm having network issues) and screen flickering.

Looking at the community article on the MS site - Windows 10 Mobile Firmware Updates – 2016/02/25 - the Lumia 830 [2179.0.15455.24047] firmware has been available via WDRT and over-the-air (if on 8.1) since 18 January. Is anyone else confused by this? is there another firmware inbound for the AT&T 830?

I guess just now they decided to make it public?? maybe this is in preparation for the Windows 10 Mobile Update hopefully due in a week or so.

Probably not. Says it will come in a few weeks and I've not had many issues. Sounds a lot of work for little gain.
