MAYOR BUG ON THE MOST RECENT UPDATE FROM NOKIA 920. WHEN YOU RECEIVE A CALL (NOT SKYPE) AND YOU PUT YOUR PHONE CLOSE TO YOUR EAR (BEFORE YOU ANWER IT) AND WHILE YOU HA VEIT NEXST TO YOUR EAR AND YOU ANSWER... YOU WILL NOTICE A EXTREMELY VERY LOUD NOICE (BEFORE YOU ARE ABLE TO HEAR YOUR CALLER) THIS NOICE RESEMBALES EITHER AN M16 (MACHINE GUN) OR A FATBOY (MOTORCILE).. I TOOK THE PHONE TO THE ATT REPAIR CENTER IN MIAMI AND THE REPS WERE ALREADY AWARE OF THE BUG. THEY'VE ALSO TESTED IN FRONT ME 4 OTHER 920 WITH THE LATEST VERSION ... AND THEY ALL DO PRESENT THE SAME BUG.... what the hek!!!.... they fix something and then they screwed up something so elemental??? COME ON MS !!! AND NOKIA... YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO ISSUE THIS CRAP OF UPDATE. ATT REPS CALIM *** THERE IS NO SOLUTION FOR IT YET***

I've never had problems like this with autocorrect on my 920 - you definitely should get it looked into.

ya. my firmware is: 1232.5957.1308.0001 and STILL NO FREAKING STORAGE CHECK UGH. is it just us to in here with this problem?
Nope, me too. 1308 but no "extra" option in settings for storage check.
I think I read somewhere we have to update the Nokia apps to get this - I am downloading/updating now to see if that is true.

UPDATE: Once I updated about 10 or so Nokia Apps, I now have the Storage Details choice in Settings (completely all the way down at the bottom - needed to scroll a while :)). All is well.

Am I the only individual that is experiencing data connection issues with the 1308 firmware update? It has been no go for data connection all day. I'm in NYC

no. lots of people are experiencing data connectivity issues. nokia care US says on twitter that they're "looking in to it"

Same issue here. Nokia wants me to send my phone to them. So I can not have one? I'm just gonna go to AT&T and ask for a new phone. I need a phone that has reception, WiFi, and 4G working.

Did not know that, thank you m0unds for providing that detail. I am on the phone now with ATT and having them trouble shoot from their end however it looks like, as you stated an issue with the manufacturer. Disappointed to be experiencing issues with the device after this firmware update they've pushed. I'd have figured they would have caught this before today, unless this is an issue with the update and US based carriers networks.

I am sorry to hear that EddieV2, I went to an AT&T store today and was not allowed to get a phone replacement. I was advised to take it to a device support center in Harlem to get a replacement device. I wish I could get a credit towards the purchase of a device to be honest.

An AT&T device support center? I'll call Nokia again tomorrow demanding a phone if it comes to that. I don't want to be a ****, but I kinda need it to work, you know?

my firmware is portico and my question is,i have that option to make stand by time never so everybody says this option only comes with the new firmware.i don't understand does anybody know what is happening and i have an another problem,when somebody calls me if i push to reply,there is this strange voice like gun fire ??

I'll chime in with my LTE and connectivity problems since the update a couple of days ago. The LTE here in Seattle is usually reliable. but since the update its been bad. Most times I cant even to Data and its been useless. Of course Nokia support on twitter tell you to reboot but thats a 1st response I suppose. Perhaps this issue needs to be on the front page for some more visibilty on the issue. I think its obvious that Nokia knows about this issue since alot of people here have contacted them.

That actually does fix it for me, but only for a short period of time. Then it starts up again.

Yes sir, an AT&T device support center, I have been told the device is under warranty for 1 full year so a replacement is valid. I have been directed to Nokia tech support also but I may have to wait until Monday to speak with someone from Nokia directly. They have hours on weekends? Nokia? I agree, the update has made my phone's 4G/LTE functionality non-existent. I just find it all frustrating, I'm really trying to remain positive but there have been some major issues with my Lumia 920 experience since 11/17/2012 and they continue

For your issues, I can not tell you how to resolve. i say start with nokia tech support. Although they are not open weekend, per ATT customer support. 1 888 665 4228.

Unless they will replace phones with cracked screens, I'm SOL.

My data connectivity is horribly spotty where it normally was 4-5 bars of LTE here in Philadelphia. I can hardly get texts to go through and MMS is a nightmare at the moment.

Right there with you sir, No go on text, MMS, application connections, nothing. Texts come and go in triplicates usually. This is horrendous. The primary reason i use my smartphone is for data related activity. The good thing is, from the AT&T side, my bill is credited for the data portion of my rate plan since I can not use my data at present.

I'm up the turnpike from you in Washington Heights (NYC). I usually get about 3 bars and LTE but nothing on the data side this entire day following the 1308 firmware update.
