Mine has been updating for about 25 minutes so far and the bar isn't moving...trying not to freak out!! Mine is a 920 from ATT in the US...no developer preview installed.

haha, mine has been spinning for an hour almost, but that's how it happened with Black so you just have to wait.

I've been anxiously awaiting WP8.1 and the Cyan update for my AT&T Nokia Lumia 920. As others have reported, I think I'm on my way. Now Microsoft update 8.0.10521.155 & Nokia update 8.0.10532.166 are being installed [gears spinning]. The note says these are being installed to make it easier to install the 8.1 update. I hope that happens today as well. --jim
Need a WiFi connection to DL update, assuming 8.1. Have to wait until I get home tonight.

Folks, you will have to roll back to 8.0 to get Cyan though, so go ahead and get the Nokia Recovery tool downloaded and installed. If you're lucky, they'll already have the tool pointing to the updated firmware.

worst case scenario you do a Nokia suite restore. The reason it takes so long is 1. lack of space and 2. user settings. They don't tell you this but that's he reason. People with very little on their phones don't have to wait.

Finally on the Migrating Data screen. Not sure why they have that progress bar in the previous step if it never moves till it's done!!

So, my 920 is on DP 8.1 and when I connect it to NSRT 1.5.0 it tells me I can install software version 3051.40000.1347.1001 which is the same firmware rev that is currently on my phone. Giving it a try in 3, 2, 1 ....

Same here, I don't think Nokia Software Recovery tool is updated to get the latest Cyan version for AT&T phones

Mine did that a few weeks ago when I downgraded from DP to 8.0

Unfortunately the roll back tutorial is a little out of date. According to the tutorial the NSRT will tell you what software it is able to roll back to and then do the job. But in this case if it is just going to restore software version 3051.40000.1347.1001 all I will accomplish is wiping my data from my phone. Earlier in the thread someone stated that his wife's 520 showed a new software rev and updated without stepping back to 8.0. I have aborted my initial attempt until I get a little more data on the process so I don't spend time that only results in another effort being made. Pause ...

The path to WP8.1 is indeed multiple steps, After update 8.0.10532.166 was installed, I had the option if waiting for the phone to see another update is available or checking manually. I did and the next update is now being installed [spinning gears #2]. It is WP8.1 [8.10.12393.890]. I presume the Cyan update comes next... --jim

EDIT: Cyan is included in the WP8.1 download.

I do realize that the software version being referenced in the NSRT is the firmware, not the OS rev but it still is a little confusing. So it will downgrade to 8.0 but keep me at 1347.1001 and then I'll be able to update to Cyan OTA, right?

On my 920 (not DP), took only a few minutes to download, spinning gears for about 15 minutes, now on migrating data about 30% after 10 minutes. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Cyan in included in the WP8.1 update. For me [no developer's package], a 2-step process--the upgrade to prepare for WP8.1 & the 8.1 upgrade [including Cyan]. Total time about 1 hour, 20 minute. Happy to have the upgrades. Now, I can but a Lumia 1520. I was waiting for the backup features of WP8.1. --jim
