Aurora Borealis Lights Up UK

That means there are big solar flares. Maybe that's why people are having data connection problems.

Like yourself, Weebear, I'm totally in awe of the Northern Lights (not the kind you smoke :D).

I didn't know you guys could see them up there. Colour me jealous! :)

I love this guy's channel on Youtube:

The Aurora - YouTube

Unfortunately only one of his videos is available via the 360. :(

I read that there are going to big solar flares hitting tomorrow and they are rerouting planes, so there should be big northern lights tomorrow night.

Yeah we had a uge solar flare!!!! Was all over the news!!! But we always get to see some in Canada :P

I'm a ham radio op so solar activity has a effect on radio propagation. Meaning at certain times I can talk farther out on certain frequencies. My nick is my call sig.

Scarier yet, every 20 million years we have a massive extinction and nobody is really sure why or what causes it. We are floating on a rock, circling a star and are being held in place by something called gravity, which we don't fully understand.

It's all relative. :D
