Australia Cortana

1. I didn't say ALL the features. There's stuff that doesn't make sense to release right now because it would have no value here BUT from the list of about 8 Interests in the Beta we now have 2 in the Alpha and one of those, the news headlines, contains a subset of the items in the Beta. Why restrict the news headlines? And there were other things in the Beta that worked acceptably well here in Australia.

2. The point of the alpha, from the press I've read, seemed to be more about the lack of region specific speech features. We have to choose UK speech.

3. Personally I don't think there is a point to the Alpha. If it was my product I would have just released an opt in Beta for Developer Preview users. Beta is generally accepted as unfinished and if it was opt in for developers with it clearly using UK or US speech then I don't see the problem. But I accept that MS chose to go the alpha path so my first 2 points are most relevant.

This is the same situation for Canada also. I've tweeted to Marcus Ash about this. I want to support the alpha version but the beta version was really nice with all those features and interests!

I've had her for only 3 days now & really enjoying it. I believe the short amount of time she has developed/learn more.

Thanks. I changed region & wow. So much better, but I can't stand seeing Fahrenheit & not Celsius. I prefer local content in the news feed.
I'm going to stick with my changes for now. I don't see it lasting to long thou.
