Automatic brightness setting is darker than low?

Got Lumia 1020 and the low-brightness screen settings are alot brighter then automatic. Why? Like twice brighter.

Annoying when you are trying to make as low light as possible while checking the phone at night or at cinema

Does cyan bring a slider bar for this?

I could be wrong, but I believe cyan or something brought a brightness profile option under display in settings, so you can tune each brightness setting.

Yea, Low is not the lowest possible, but is still lower, so I guess it kinda works. Makes sense yet doesn't at the same time I think.

If going for as dim as possible, do auto, then battery saver.

This also annoys me a little. Low is hardly low, so most of the time I just use auto. Also, I have cyan on my 925 but I don't have the brightness profile as shown in the image above.

The brightness sliders are under display. Change to low, then you can adjust all three settings

Same thing here. Lumia 925 (country variant) with WP 8.1 + Cyan and there is no such option.
I was looking forward to finally being able to adjust it...

Same with my 1020. I have to make sure I'm on Automatic in order to get the lowest setting at night.
