my XV6800 never disconencts after it downloads my emails, which are set to 15 and 30 minute intervals. if i don't manually hold down the end/hangup button, it will stay connected for HOURS. luckily for me i have an unlt'd data plan, but is there a way to force it to disconnect after it downloads my messages? there's no reason it needs to remain connected, as it is capable of reconnecting the next time the scheduled download runs.
oh, and i too have the problem with my alarms not ringing, but this only happens if i have my phone charging overnight. when i disconnect the power cord, i will almost instantly get "reminder" notifications that my alarms (supposedly) went off minutes or hours beforehand.
