Use your credit card price protection to get the difference back. I just called to file a $50 claim on my citi card using its price rewind feature. There's a limit for 60 days on my card.
It finally looks like Microsoft is really trying to move the Band 2's for Christmas and all those new year resolutions. The medium is now #3 on Amazon's GPU running units bestseller list. It had dropped to #5 a few days ago after Amazon's one day $50 off sale on the Band 2 earlier in the week.
The Christmas shopping season is finally over. On Amazon's running GPS units bestseller list, the Band 2 edged past the Fitbit Surge small into the #2 spot. The Band 2 is still listed at $199.99 so if you have $200 to drop on a new wearable, you can still get it at that price.
The #1 bestseller and reigning champion is still the Fitbit Surge large. Its price has remained relatively steady hovering between $247.xx to $249.99. Never saw the Band 2 in the #1 spot even with the 25% discount. Back when the Band 2 was selling for $249.99 it was in the #4 spot behind the Fitbit Surge small and the Garmin Forerunner 225 and sometimes at #5 behind the Garmin Forerunner 220. Amazing what a difference $50 makes eh? Merry Christmas to those who got their Band 2 today. Use it to get healthier and stay healthier in 2016.
Because I was given a Microsoft gift card for Christmas the first thing I did this morning was check Microsoft Store online. One of the sales is the Band 2 $50 off. Not sure if it's online only though.
