[BAND] Sizing?

anyone tried on all three sizes? if so, is each significantly different? i'm asking because i went to the msft store today to exchange my large band for a medium...after wearing the large for a day i thought it might be too big and that a medium would be perfect. in the store i tried on the band that was marked medium and was really surprised by how tight it was. i could barely get the clasp closed even at it's widest setting. i tried the small too and it might have been slightly tighter, but both the M and S were so tight that i couldn't really tell if one was tighter. so i'm wondering if the M in the store was really a small. the size jump from small and medium to large seems pretty big is both units were correctly labeled.

anyway, just wondering if i should still pursue a M sized band or just work with the L size. the L is fine, i just have to close it all the way down to get the fit a want...i'd rather have a little extra room, but it's ultimately a minor issue as the large does fit.

The differences are pretty clear, so I suspect one was mislabeled. I fall exactly in the middle adjustment range of the medium size. The small one just barely fit it on its widest setting, and the large model was a bit too wide even on its tightest setting.

If you have to close the L all the way down to get the fit you want then it should be fine, since if you want, you could loosen it. It seems that with you, the medium would just fit and you would have no room to adjust it, meaning you would need a large if your wrist gets bigger.

I tried on all 3. The small was way too small for me, the clasps wouldn't reach each other. The medium fits snug and secure on its loosest setting, but it started feeling too tight/uncomfortable after a few min so I tried on a large and the large closed all the way fits tight and comfortably. At the store they couldn't tell which was small, medium or large, they had to stack them to see which was which. Unfortunately my store was sold out so I pre ordered a large on backorder.

This really adds to the sizing confusion. Not writing the size anywhere on the band seems like a bad idea. As an aside, I was surprised to see that the pads on the sides look like they can be opened up - there are accessible screws in there. I wonder how long iFixit will take to open one up.

That's where the batteries are. One on each side. The only thing I'm afraid (I know its extremely rare) if some units have defective batteries that would explode/catch on fire like we see on the news with phones. This is on our wrist so it would be an extremely huge problem.

Thanks! I wonder if they include a little flame icon in the sleep chart when this happens overnight. :D On the plus side, it looks like it might be possible to replace the batteries at some point without sending it in.

the small and medium are only 2 mm in difference. the large is significantly larger.

i'm between a medium and large. with the medium, the clasp is on bit I can't loosen it much if at all. If I want to wear the band higher up, I can't do it.

the large, i have to cinch it all the way and even then, it's not a tight fight. it's not loose but it's not tight. i tried to exchange for a large but all the bands were gone. so I got put on the list. I can live with a medium.
