has anyone noticed the battery life improvement or not?
previously my phone (640xl dual sim) with 581, the battery performance is very good: overnight, I lost about 3% of battery. but after upgrading to the 586, I lost about 20% of the battery life overnight. how is everyone's observation of the battery performance?

I've had crap battery on 10581 AND 10586 thanks to Messaging + Skype. Even before that bug, it was about double the battery drain. I'm in process of restoring to 8.1 right now because I *love* epic battery life.

Not even battery saver app helps? When I had build 10581, I tried everything to save battery on my phone and it worked good, but I went back to 8.1 cause maybe build 10586 would drain my battery faster..

fyi, I had my battery saver enabled - I turn it on from 100%. but I still lost 20% overnight ( wifi on, phone on, data off)

I've always had battery saver off, even on 8.1. I had been running 10581 since November 6, and battery life was okay at best, horrific at worst. Battery life was one of the desired features of leaving Android for 8.1 and a 920.

how was the phone signal? If signal is week, you will have battery drain. And which apps are allowed to run at background with battery saver on?

Update: I've upgraded to build 10586.. And battery life is horrible..don't upgrade guys..

Battery life on my Lumia 930 was very good with 10581. With 10586 it has dropped a bit. I am reporting this to WIF.

I've logged out of Skype on Skype Video and battery life is more or less the same on my 830, hopefully it'll get better with a newer firmware.

Same problem here. Battery life on both my Nokia 520 and Icon, was incredibly good with 581. After updating to 586, battery life decreased dramatically. Surely this must come to the attention of Microsoft. Why is there no explanation or comments about the problem?

I get good battery life on my 1520 with 10586. Went to bed with 58% battery and woke up 5 hours later and the battery was at 57%. I easily get two days usage out of it if I'm not using it very very heavily.

Battery life is *horrible* running 586 on my ATT 830. Discharging at the rate of 15-20% hour, with little use, quicker if I'm using it. Big problem, certainly can't consider this a functional OS at this pace. I went straight from 8.1 ver. 2 to 586, the decline in battery life is huge.
