BBM Notification details.

Every BBM notification I receive says "You have a new notification", rather than stating some specific information about that particular notification, like "You have one new message by Mark" or "You have one new BBM invite". Every notification says the same thing which is "You have one new notification".
Is this normal and is this feature yet to be implemented into the app, or am I missing some setting here?
I'm running BBM on my Lumia 620 running 8.1.1 DP with Lumia Black.

Hello. I noticed I don't get any notifications whenever my phone is on the start screen. Most times the messages/notifications gush in as soon as I click on the bbm icon. Any reason why this is so? Am on lumia 920 windows 8.1
