Been getting crazy battery life since installing 8.1

A full charge is now reporting as 23 hours. What's is happening? Anyone else experiencing this?

Contacted Nokia.
They suggested I use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool.
As a result, it returned my phone to WP8

My,phone now reads 4days for a full charge.
I will just wait for 8.1 to release.
Screw the preview for developers.

Less gaming, if charging is really an issue for you; I play Cloud Raiders as well, and I see a drastic difference in battery life on the days that I don't have time for a few raids. Also, don't let all those apps run in the background! Letting Cloud Raiders run in the background... Why?

I've been dealing with crazy battery drain these past few days. I don't know what's changed or if I downloaded an update to an app that's been draining the battery but I'm getting only 14-15 hours out of a full charge where I used to get more than 24 hours. It has also been taking a long time to fully charge the battery where it used to take only a few hours and now takes about 6-7 hours. This is disappointing. Hopefully the cyan update will fix it.

W8.1 Cyan is available now in my country for my L1520.1

Tried to update phone many times and it will return message "The update couldn't be downloaded. (801882d1)" half way through, about half to an hour's time. Been repeating this quite few times and it does not help. :unhappysweat:

The battery life on my Lumia 720 declined radically since I have installed 8.1 WITH Cyan update. Before I had the developer preview versions without Cyan and the battery life was amazing (2 to 3 days even). Now with the same usage it only lasts for 1 day. It's ironic that the unfinished product was actually better than the official product. Cyan doesn't do anything useful.

If you turn off double tap to wake it saves a lot of battery life

Glad I am not the only one who has had a battery charging problem. I just posted about this I have been having crazy battery problems which disappeared after some tweaking and up/downgrading of software's.
