Best way to connect Lumia 650 to a tv

Hi guys, is it possible? Have you done it? Via usb (tried but no go), vga or hdmi port? What adapter do i need? Just trying to find the easiest setup to watch video on a larger screen. Wish they supported OTG though, much much simpler. Thank you. (it's not a smart tv)

first you need to make sure that your TV has Miracast technology built in, then tap connect from phone's action center and make sure ur tv is in share screen mode

Well, i don't think the tv have that. Just wondering other simpler way other than transferring from phone to pc then to usb & connect via usb port. Like i said, much easier if they supported usb OTG.

If your TV has an HDMI port all you need to get would be a wireless adapter and use Miracast from your phone. It's not Continuum, just a mirror of your display.
