Beta 2 has been submitted guys, it seems Microsoft have finally allowed for updates to betas so it should come through the marketplace in the usual way at some point in the next 2 days.

Alot of fixes, changes and polish for you all to help me iron out the last few bugs

Actually let's tell you what to expect from beta 2:

- Now contains the site's new branding/logo, making it all the more important you do not share information with anyone outside of this beta team
- Implemented multiple changes and tweaks as suggested by the beta test group
- New design for inbox screen and general private messages improvements
- Account/profile screen now has actionable links such as twitter account, or location
- User interface polish including padding where appropriate and animations to register interactions
- Caching and pre-fetching of the forum structure to make browsing forums faster
- Removed no longer used methods and references to make the app the lightest download yet
- Tuned page swiping to be more responsive to slower swipes
- Images referenced in posts can now be viewed and even saved to your device (great for wallpapers etc)
- More bug fixes than you could shake a stick at

I'm missing some things there for certain but hopefully you'll notice the difference that just over 2 weeks has made. Couldn't have done it without you all, easily the best beta test group I've had to date!

I'm not seeing it yet, so a link would be helpful, but I'll keep checking through the morning too.

You should have the link in your inbox from when I last sent it? I won't post it here as some of the original respondants didn't agree to terms but may still be able to see this forum

Thanks... what's the new build number? I just did a "reinstall" and it seems like it's the same build as before, so just curious.

Update: Nevermind, it finally sent it. Apparently, the reinstall didn't trigger the first time.

I'm just now getting around to playing with it a bit... was a CRAZY day at work. So far, definitely happy with the improvements!

I like the way the quote icon now changes shade, so I can actually see that my tapping did something.

That's great to hear thank you guys. I just need to do a couple of other bits around the main app which are getting improvements and we'll be good to go obviously if you find any bugs though make sure to report them

So far it's great. I haven't found any bugs to report other than the fact it shows I'm using Tapatalk.

Oh, the tile... I misread as title, lol. It needs some color or content in those blocks, I feel.

That is simply our new logo (same as the one you now see up top on the app) obviously that's confidential to the beta program of course.

Once I figure out a good way to retrieve background content from the tapatalk API (it's a nightmare believe me) then those three may get repurposed as areas of notification
