Do you have any specific concept ideas for the keyboard?
If so, I'd like to see what you have in mind.

I am using a Lumia 1320 and it has awesome screen space. But the keyboard occupies nearly half of its space.
#1
OBSERVATION: The "ATTACH" and "SEND" icons below the keyboard occupy too much space for only two options.
SUGGESTION: I would suggest that the "ATTACH" and "SEND" icons be removed from their permanent position below the keyboard. Instead, the "three dots" should only be present below the ENTER key. Pressing the "three dots" should activate the pop-up screen for the "ATTACH" and "SEND" icons.
BENEFITS: Pressing the "three dots" to activate the pop-up screen for the "ATTACH" and "SEND" icons will not only save keyboard space, but will also activate the "ATTACH" and "SEND" icons as and when necessary.
#2
OBSERVATION: The middle row has unnecessary space to the left of 'A' and right of 'L' characters.
SUGGESTION: As is the case with the keyboards of other phones, the middle row can be widened to eliminate this space.
BENEFITS: The widened second row of alphabets will not only have a better visual appeal, but it will also give an impression that the keyboard is wider than before, as it has been stretched from end to end.
#3
OBSERVATION: The long keys of the keyboard are being wasted with unnecessary space.
SUGGESTION: It would be nice to adopt the feature present in the keyboard of the Nokia XL and some other Andoird phones, whereby numbers are superimposed on the top of the first row keys, while characters are superimposed on the other rows.
BENEFITS: This is a huge benefit to texters, who constantly rotate between alphabets, number and characters. All one needs to do is to long press 'Q' (to get '1'), 'A (to get '@'), etc...
#4
OBSERVATION: The strip for the word suggestions box is too wide/tall on the present keyboard.
SUGGESTION: The width/height for the word suggestions box can easily be reduced/shortened, while retaining the size of the font width.
BENEFITS: This will save valuable screen space, which is being unnecessarily hogged by the keyboard.
Thanks,
