Beware: not possible to revert to Cyan+DP after Denim update

Due to the capacitive buttons bug, I wanted to revert to Cyan+DP. However it is seemingly not possible to do so.

I put the original Cyan image back on my phone. Set up the phone, and successfully installed Preview For Developers before the phone did its first check for updates. I was on the Developer Preview path and got some DP updates.

However one of the very first DP updates now installs the Denim firmware. There's no way to avoid it. There's no way to get back to a Cyan+DP state.

I am pissed off.

I usually perform a complete firmware flash after each release. If I were you I would do a clean firmware wipe using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool to Denim, perform all app updates, restart and then check if the capacitive button bug is still present

navifirm doesn't have denim images for 1520.3 yet

In that case waiting would be a wiser option. BTW have you tried the Windows Phone Recovery Tool to reinstall the firmware?

I'm still waiting for LSRT to get the 8.1.1 + Denim image for my 1520.3. I checked late last night. Still waiting.

I'm not taking OTA. I want that clean install. It always comes with minty fresh goodness.
