8.1 has been announced. Excitement is in the air, but many find themselves a bit underwhelmed. Some are frustrated with the lack of surprises and some doubt the power of the announced features. Please post below:

After the announcements, what is still missing?

No native Google Apps make the platform a dead letter for me. I use Gmail, Google Search, Maps, Youtube. Cortana could replace Google Now but that's about it.

I find it funny that people complain that something is missing when there's a whole other keynote tomorrow.

Simply put,a file manager.Just don't know if it is present or not.If it is,& has not been mentioned in the keynote, then I'm fine with that. However,If it is still not present, then this is truly making me very angry.I can kill those people at MS who for some reason, still think that a file manager is not needed.I don't care much about anything else present in this update.I,with many others wanted just one feature & they have simply ignored it,it seems.

So many problems with Outlook.com as an email service. Why can't Microsoft fix that so that it's not only on par but superior to GMail? Get rid of folders forever.

I like folders.
I'd like meta tags AND folders.
