Bing Maps/Cortana can't find any address I type in

So I was trying to setup home/work (in Places) for commute information and the address show up as I type them but always tells me no search results. Location is on. I can't think of any setting I may have missed. Here+ finds them fine. But, I don't think Cortana will use Nokia favorites for this info, will it?

Go to Settings, then swipe right to Applications.

Tap the maps app. If you don't have any downloaded maps, you might want to get the one(s) that are relevant for you. There's no way they could put all map data on your phone and by storing relevant maps locally, you don't have to be online/stay online to use it. When you are online, only information about your route needs to be downloaded -- not a whole map database and images.

That's not it. I have all the maps I need downloaded. Interestingly, Cortana just asked me if "this" was home and work. It got it right mostly. Built in Maps won't find any address specifically. Even though the addresses show in autocomplete. Finds places not addresses.

I am also having this issue. I have found 2 threads regarding this but no answers as of yet.

there are 2 threads on microsofts sites for this , I would link them but I am too new to post links.

Many people have posted on this here(closed for unknown reason): social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a42bad37-af58-4dc2-ac4b-a8274de74a98/windows-phone-bing-maps-no-results?forum=winphoneosissues

I have the same problem on my Samsung ATIV S. Has anyone tried to Factory Reset the phone with luck? I'm wondering if some proxy settings would solve the problem also? Anyone tried that?
