bing vision translate text

is it supposed to be able to detect other language text and translate to english? It seems to only be able to translate from english to whatever.

seems more useful if i can translate a language i didn't know into something I did know rather than translating something I already know into another language that I can't read.

Update:
seems like I answered my own question. All the text detected needed to be a single language. if english detected somewhere it freaks out and does english to english.

Yeah, it worked pretty well in a youtube video with a different language.
