When it's really dark in the room, and when the screen is dark, with say a video from you tube beginning to play, I see dark blacks spots, like imperfections in the glass. Anyone else notice that?

I don't notice them during normal use, but just in the right viewing environment, weird.

It's an AMOLED thing. Couple topics already, I believe one in the 1020 and 928 forums each regarding this.

On the mobile app or I would go find them for you, but you should be able to find them if you want more info.

Thankfully, it's such a particular and fleeting set of circumstances that it is visible, that I will take the tradeoff.

This screen is gorgeous otherwise.

I noticed this as well, found setting the brightness to always be medium rather than auto you cant see them then.

I can't anyway, and medium looks good and won't hammer your battery.

Brightness of medium in a dark room burns out my retinas 😊. Auto would seem to save battery, especially in the conditions where this is seen.
