Bluetooth heart rate monitor

Wp7 does not support serial port Bluetooth. Is this ? hardware or ? software problem?

I woud really like to use ? polar Bluetooth monitor. Seems my only option is the runtastic pro app combined with the runtastic HRM, which has a receiver that has to be plugged in to the headphone input.

It states other Bluetooth functionalities so I suppose it is a software restriction. I would consult with a user who has flashed another version, a less restricted one, to see if they've gained more functionality through this software modification.
