Hi,

I am wondering if its possible to connect 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time to the Phone?

I have a Sony car stereo with Bluetooth but the built in mic is useless, can I connect a headset at same time and use the headset only as a mic and have the output through the stereo speakers?

I don't think it would work that way. I've seen the BT work for calls and the 3.5 work for say... A tape adapter ( my car had one). But I don't imagine you'd be able to use ONLY the mic on a headset. But maybe someone has found a way.

There is absolutely no possibility to connect 2 BT devices, because the phone itself douesn't support multipoint connections.

I have had my 820 connected to one device for Music and a second device for Voice. Unintentionally I might add and quickly disentangled so no idea if it would do what you might want it to do in practise.

How do you tell windows phone to only connect for audio and not phone?

It connected to a Bluetooth speaker that only has Music capability. Then a second speaker that has Voice capability as well.

After some mishaps I ended up buying a Bluetooth device that actually doesn't support music playback. So now I get my calls/Cortana through my headset but my music plays from the speaker. When i get home I'll try connecting it to my portable Bluetooth speaker and see what happens.
